QCUA (Quality Cadet Unit Award)

  • Reports to see how your unit is doing via www.capnhq.gov (note: depending on your eServices permissions, you may or may not have access to the below reports):

  • QCUA Details (individual people meeting each criterion): menu--cadet programs--cadet promotions--QCUA Details
  • Attendance sheets help show cadet ranks & expiration dates: menu--reports--member reports--member reports--member reports--attendance--cadets
  • AEX (only Squadron commander and Squadron AEO can access):
    • To apply: menu--aerospace ed--AEX--Apply for AEX
    • To enter activities/get credit: menu--aerospace ed--AEX--AEX award report
  • To help cadets get "GES" credit (ie to take the CAPT 116 General ES test): Menu--Online Learning--Learning Management System--AXIS, look for "CAPT 116 General ES".  The test is open-book and most of the test answers can be found in CAPR 60-3 (https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/R060_003_075A4369FBA8E.pdf)
  • Outside activities: Most "outside activities" are months-long national tournament-style competitions.  Red Ribbon Leadership Academy (RRLA), however, is an activity that a unit could plan & complete within a couple weeks and can be done any time of year.    Detailed RRLA curriculum, reporting requirements, and other RRLA resources are available here: https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/cadets/activities/other-opportunities/red-ribbon-leadership-academy.  NEW FOR 2023: NASA Eclipse MISSION!

*NOTE* Monitor the addition of cadets & cadet membership expiration dates closely and how those changes may affect your unit's overall QCUA number.
